What effort

Waves returning to shore
Swaying an ancient rhythm
Vast
We cannot control the sea.
Stars prick the night sky
Limitless universe
We bow beneath
The weight of God’s glory.
Our to-do list melts
Under Your holy gaze
Pass by here, Lord
So we can catch a glimpse
Of your might.
