Advent is coming…

No matter how you are approaching this Advent season, there is good news.

The words of scripture, written long ago, demonstrate again and again that God is at work. God is present. God is always surprising God’s people by moving and making something new.

In the midst of a weary world and fragile hope, we come to this season of preparation and celebration to be reminded of this truth. We engage these reflective practices so we, too, can notice anew that God is with us, in the beauty of the ordinary and in the sacred extraordinary of Advent and Christmastide.

Methods for spiritual reflection and practice are as varied as we are as individuals. There are many ways to commune with God in our daily lives and we hope  you will find a point of connection through our variety of invitations.

Throughout the Advent season we will be sharing questions and reflections drawn from our book.

And, if you would like more depth throughout this Advent season there is still time to receive Comfort and Joy to guide you through the next six weeks.

May we have open hearts to learn, reflect and grow in the coming days.
